At the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Giga-Byte unveiled its latest flagship Windows Mobile smartphone, the GSmart S1200. Running on Windows Mobile 6.1 with an upgrade option to Windows Mobile 6.5, the stylish and powerful S1200 is powered by a Qualcomm CPU at 528 MHz and supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA as well as Bluetooth and WiFi b/g and GPS. The device features a 3.1″ WVGA touchscreen, featuring Giga-Byte’s self-developed “Smart Zone” GUI, and the autofocus camera snaps photos at 3 megapixel. The S1200 measures 106 x 52 x 11.4 mm only and includes a Send, End and function button only to keep the design as minimalistic as possible.
